چکیده
Background: ABVD or escBEACOPP chemotherapy (CT) ± radiation is the treatment approach for Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) patients. As a result of improvement, long-term survivors and treatment-related complications are recognized, among which, gonadal insufficiency plays cenrtal role. Moreover, little known about kinetics function sex hormones during CT to guide contraceptive measures. Subjects Methods: This prospective study in HL patients, with an age limit ≤40 years women ≤45 men. We present our results on 94 Measurements were performed at pre-specified time points: before (t0), CT(t1), end CT(t2) every six months (t6, t12) thereafter. The following measured: follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), lutenizing (LH), progesterone (PG), estradiol (Ε2), anti-Mullerian (ΑΜΗ) FSH, LH, AMH, testosterone Results: included 55 men (median 30 years) 39 29 HL, all first-line ABVD. In men, FSH increased from start treatment, peaked remained high 6 after CT: [t0 = 3.8 IU/mL, t1 11.07 t2 15 t6 7.4 fsh0–1 p < 0.001, fsh0–2 0,001, t0–6 0.001], while it normalized 12 months. AMH progressively beginning up (t0 8, 05 ng/mL, 8.40 13.21 ng, 13, 52 t12 13.04 ng/mL amh0–1 0.002, amh0–2 amh0–6 amh0–12 0,05). Testosterone treatment: 407 ng/dL, 523 535 ng/dl, t0–1 t0–2 0,001), returned normal levels CT. women, showed increase CT, middle end: 4.1 U/mL, 8.8 7.7 6.6 0.01, fsh0–6 0.05). decrease its low until 2.85 0.45 0.62 0.001), later. Sex unaffected. Keywords: lymphoma, late effects survivors, other No conflicts interests pertinent abstract.

Treatment of Newly Diagnosed and Relapsed Hodgkin Lymphoma in Children
Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) accounts for about 10% of all childhood cancers. Five-year survival rates with modern therapies are now approaching >90-95% as a consequence of its significant sensitivity to both chemotherapy and radiation. The current challenge is to determine how much therapy is needed to improve survival and how to adapt treatment to the patient to prevent these long term toxicities. T...

Background and Objectives: Classic Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL), anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) and some cases of diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) have overlapping morphologic features. Since they all represent distinct clinico-pathologic entities, we explored the differential diagnostic impact of immunophenotyping to discriminate between them. Materials and Methods:...

متن کاملBulky mediastinal classical Hodgkin lymphoma in young women.
In 2013, an estimated 9,290 cases of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) were diagnosed in the United States, and 1,180 patients died from their disease. The median age at diagnosis is 38 years, although there is a bimodal age distribution with peaks around ages 20 and 65.[1] Mediastinal involvement is present in 60% of patients at diagnosis, and bulky mediastinal disease is seen in 20% to 25% of clinical st...
